Summer of '65 with the Liverpool Renaissance Singers | ST FAITH'S CHURCH | Saturday, 29. June 2019




This concert is a summery feast of music showing early styles of writing, together with the dramatic shift into the more flamboyant baroque era. 

The old style and the new style make a fascinating progression between 1465 and 1665.
 
Featuring some early choral classics such as Beatus Vir by Monteverdi and the wonderful PoLyPhOnIcA recorder ****. Graham Eccles is our organist and keyboard player. 

The Liverpool Renaissance Singers is a specialist early music choir and is directed by Deborah Catterall who is a professional early music instrumentalist singer and vocal tutor.  In this concert of early music the choir is also supported by the recorder ensemble and a keyboard player and organist.
Tickets are all £10 on line for St Faith's only but can be bought on the door at either event price £10 full price and £8 concessions.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is limited parking on the church premises so most people will need to street park nearby. There is a nearby bus stop (buses X2, 47, 54A and 63) and Waterloo is the nearest railway station a walk of 15-20 minutes away from the church.
Tickets can be bought on line for St Faith's or at the door at either St Faith's or at Burton price on the door is £10 full and £8 concessions.
