1) Bachelard

3) tendencyitis
  • Bachelard - Heidi Chan, one of the city's foremost modular synth experts, mixes electronics with traditional Chinese folk music and hints of touches of Cantopop in this solo project. Drones and static-bursts give way to melodic bamboo flute grooves, which then are chopped'n'spliced back into the digital mix.
  • LUKA - Singer-songwriter Luke Kuplowsky's purpose is "to unravel questions of self-doubt, integrity, companionship and faith", which has unfolded over several releases, including the brand new "What Kind of Animal ". but for this set, he'll set aside his own songs (and bring some Very Special Guests) to explore the words and worlds of the 18th century poet hermit-monk Ryōkan.
  • tendencyitis - tendencyitis is mira martin-gray, an electroacoustic improviser toeing the lines between harsh noise and melody, rhythm and drone, with a particular interest in manipulating analog feedback.
