"When’s the last time it felt as if an entire theater were about to levitate?" - New York Times

"Jim Steinman has long been the Wagner of rock’n’roll, and now at last he presents his Ring in the way it always cried out to be seen, in a proper opera house and everything. Such is his way with his material that it already, right out of the box, feels like a classic." - London Financial Times

"This riotous invasion makes a demented kind of sense, zapping its audience with a care-banishing current of wild-child zaniness." - London Daily Telegraph

"This shot of pure joy, produced with such energy, electricity and enthusiasm is exactly what the West End needs. A production that redefines standards of the rock musical and in its breadth and ambition, a score that Wagner himself would have been proud of. A full-throttled and genre defining production." - The Reviews Hub

"And while Meat Loaf admirers will have a particularly good night, it's not just for the die-hard fans - even those who are new to the star's discography with find Bat Out Of **** to be a joyful and uplifting experience." - Daily Express

Jim Steinman's masterpiece, 50 years in the making. The 1977 Meat Loaf album was just the tip of the iceberg. Andrew Polec won Best West End Debut earlier this year for his role as Strat, and the show is currently nominated for four BWW awards and "Best Musical" in the BBC Radio 2 Theatre Awards 2017. This is a strictly limited run in Canada, and the show returns to the UK in 2018. Catch it while you can!
