Casino Night Fundraiser for Jacob Honsinger | Grantham Optimist Club (St. Catharines) | Saturday, 10. November 2018

As most know, I’ve been involved with Scouting for some time and we are a family. Our little buddy Jacob who is 7 is in his second year of battling Leukaemia. This has been tough on his body and of course his family as there is always something coming up and the drugs aren’t easy for him. There are always ups and downs and he’s a very tough little guy, but we are organizing a fundraiser to help support the financial aspects for the family.

What we as close family and friends of the Honsinger Family have decided to do is run a Themed Casino Fundraiser November 10, 2018. We would really love to ask for any support you may have to offer either in the form of volunteering your time or are asking area businesses to assist us in our fundraising efforts by donating items for our silent auction and prizes for the evening. We are looking for items of varying value to stand alone as an auction item or be bundled with other items. Gift cards and gift certificates also work well as silent auction items.

We hope that you will consider making a donation, through the individual who provided you this letter, to help our efforts.
There will be games, food, drinks and also I have two local musicians who’ve already signed on to help out the event. Brad Battle and Ryan Smelle of the Ryan Thomas Band will both be there to entertain us through the night.

We will be asking people to dress in Gangster or Mob style outfits for the night to make it a REAL Casino Themed night. We will be holding it at the St. Catharines Grantham Optimist and look forward to having you out to support the Honsinger Family. Tickets will be $5.00.

Please contact me at zulu13@me.com or at 905 380 3299 to let me know if you can offer anything to help out this amazing little guy and the family during this very tough time. Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing from you.

Kindest regards,

Kerri Zaluski and loved ones of the Honsinger Family.
