Heps for Hearts: A Night at the Circus 2018 | West Coast Flying Trapeze | Saturday, 24. February 2018

West Coast Flying Trapeze is thrilled to once again present Heps for Hearts: A Night at the Circus, the second annual fundraiser for the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Our first annual event in 2017 raised over $3,000 for the Foundation. On February 24, 2018, join us from 7-10pm, as we try to meet our goal of $5,000 in donations.

From 7-8pm, join us for refreshments (light snacks, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages), and bid on items in our silent auction. All silent auction and ticket sales proceeds will be donated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

The circus portion of the evening will begin at 8pm. Feel the adrenaline rush as acrobats and aerialists from Vancouver's circus community flip, contort, and soar through the air.

About the Heart & Stroke Foundation

The Heart and Stroke Foundation is one of Canada’s largest and most effective health charities. Over the last 60 years they have invested more than $1.39 billion in heart and stroke research, making them the largest contributor in Canada after the federal government. In that time, the death rate from heart disease and stroke has declined by more than 75 percent.

The Foundation’s health promotion and advocacy programs across the country are saving lives every day. Working together, their employees, volunteers, donors, and world-class researchers have made the Heart and Stroke Foundation what they are today: Canada’s most widely recognized and trusted authority on cardiovascular health. Their mission is to create healthy lives free of heart disease and stroke. Together, we will make it happen.

The Heart & Stroke Foundation is committed to keeping families together by creating healthy lives free of heart disease and stroke through:
- Prevention, with a focus on giving children and youth the best start for a long, healthy life, and empowering all Canadians to live healthy lives
- Saving lives by enabling faster and better response and treatment for both cardiac emergencies and stroke
- Promoting recovery by enhancing support for survivors and caregivers.

The Foundation has already made an impact in these areas through research breakthroughs, successful advocacy and policy work, along with key partnerships and health promotion activities.
