Call to action from Albert Dumont "South Wind":

"Together, in solidarity with members of the region’s religious leaders and anyone else who wishes to join us, we will gather on Victoria Island (Booth Street entrance) at 10 a.m. on the morning of the 23rd. At precisely 11 a.m., Indigenous roots intertwined and locked as one with settler roots, shoulder to shoulder, we will march in prayer to the nation’s Parliament Buildings. Together, we will show the world that Indigenous spirituality is real and is as rich with the blessings of Creator as are all the other faiths practised by the citizenry who make up the population of Canada."

  • Kwey Kwey. I want to share the profound words of Maureen Stark: "For me, my faith is saying I need to walk with the Algonquin Spiritual Grandmothers and Elders to discover what their faith is asking of us. I’m simply inviting my ‘Church’ to do the same." http://albertdumont.com/come-into-the-circle/

  • one year ago yesterday:
  • Being there is part of the journey.
  • I'll be lifting up my prayers in loving support from California. With you all in spirit as you pray for and protect the sacred. May the Ancestors watch over you.
  • I keep thinking about the yearly gatherings William Commanda hosted on his home reserve. He did this for years where it is said that 4-5,000 people attended yearly. Where are these people today? Why are they not speaking up and rallying behind his vision to Free the Falls and the Islands? Or was it all just about them, spiritual tourism, cultural appropriation, and the Indigenous person as the exotic spectacle?
  • Reconciliation is Peace Sharing and waking together.

  • I will be with you in spirit and will be offering smoke and prayers. Much love and respect to you all my relatives.
