Dan & Carole McCaskill's Annual Winter Carnival Quiz Night | Fitzroy Harbour Community Assn | Friday, 09. February 2018

Hi Folks!

It's that time again for the Winter Carnival and a cornerstone of the Fitzroy Harbour Winter Carnival, the McCaskill's Annual Quiz Night.

Easily around the 25 year mark, Dan and Carole McCaskill have held one of the signature events of the whole Winter Carnival, and is always a well attended event.

How do you participate? Easy. You can have teams to a maximum of 6 people. The cost? $1.00 a person with all money bring raised going to The Canadian Cancer Society. What do you need to bring? A pen, some scrap paper, and come up with a team name.

There are a few rules. 1) No devices, tablets, smart phones is to be honest and respectful so everyone has fun. 2) no more then 6 people at one table (no bystanders.) 3) The Quiz Master is ALWAYS right (sometimes mistakes happen but we are respectful that these volunteers give of their time to benefit our community.)

The cash bar is open for beverages.

This event will offer you the opportunity to order your choice pizza from Sammy at Harbour Pizza. There will be an announcement and you are expected to order by a specific time at the bar to ensure the pizza's are all delivered together and on time. We will walk you through it during the night. Sammy will take cash or credit.

We rely on the kindness of the attendee's to donate gifts as door prizes. As there are usually 6 on a team, we ask for the gifts to be in multiples of 6 wherever possible. For those people with businesses, this is a great opportunity to advertise your service or product. The names of all sponsors are announced during the evening. If you are going to donate, simply bring the gift cards or products to the dias at the hall the evening of. If you cannot attend and wish to donate something in advance, please contact either Carole or Dan McCaskill or Tim and I, and we'd be happy to pick it up in advance.

We'll see you at the Community Centre on Friday February 9, 2018 at 7:30PM for some fun.

If you have any questions, or concerns please feel free to forward them. :)

Can you please share this event on your timeline or go to the top of the page and invite friends to ensure we get the word out? Thanks in advance.
