Rez Project: Race & Colonialism Workshop Facilitator Call Out! | Rez Project | Monday, 04. December 2017

Would you like to contribute to the well-being of your campus community? Are you interested in developing skills in facilitation and conflict management? We got you!

Welcome to the second workshop of the academic year: RACE AND COLONIALISM! We are back again to engage student in residences in critical conversations about race and legacies of colonialism in the McGill context. We turn to you, members of the McGill community and beyond, to share your knowledge, experience and winning personality with us in the hopes of delivering exceptional workshops.

DESCRIPTION: This survey will be used to match facilitators with each other based on knowledge of content and facilitation experience/skills. We're asking each facilitator to do a minimum of 2 workshops so that we can be sure that every rez student gets the benefit of Race Project. Each workshop will take about 3 hours in total. These workshops will be held in January 2018.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION FOR TRAINING: The building (Royal Victoria College, West Lounge) is wheelchair accessible (via ramp); there are both single-stall & gendered multiple-stall washrooms; non-fluorescent lighting; fidget toys will be available; training will be scent-reduced. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.

If you did not facilitate Rez Project this fall, you must attend BOTH a content and facilitation training.
