Letter of Accountability Justin Trudeau | Canadian Coalition of Concerned Citizens | Monday, 11. September 2017

Please send this letter every Monday until election day:

LETTER OF ACCOUNTABILITY
To: All Ministers of Parliament
The disgusted voices of Canadian citizens of all political stripes are publicly sounding the alarm regarding the reckless political decisions and destructive actions of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada. Since all Ministers of Parliament have been elected to represent and serve Canadian citizens, the call for accountability is sounded and Canadian citizens unequivocally demand answers to the following questions:
• Why are the Members of Parliament allowing Justin Trudeau to send millions of dollars to foreign countries at the expense of Canada’s needs?
• Why are the Members of Parliament allowing Justin Trudeau to carelessly accumulate vast amounts of national debt at the expense of Canada’s future generations?
• Why are the Members of Parliament allowing Justin Trudeau to wreak havoc at our borders by admitting mass immigration of illegal migrants (such as Haitians) who are not from war-torn countries at the expense of legal immigration applicants?
• Why are the Members of Parliament allowing Justin Trudeau to completely disregard the needs of the more fragile elements of Canadian society such as our veterans, seniors, and disabled? While refugees are given free products and services, why must Canadian seniors pay to receive eyeglasses, dental care, and prescriptions? Why are Canadian seniors taxed on their pension incomes?
• Why are the Members of Parliament allowing Justin Trudeau to neglect and avoid legally recognizing all activist groups which violently seek to suppress and eliminate freedom of speech as “terrorists”?
• Why did the Members of Parliament allow Justin Trudeau to issue a payment of $10.5 million dollars to a convicted terrorist without an official Supreme Court ruling?
• Why did the Members of Parliament allow the Liberal Party of Canada to pass Motion-103 (M-103) which only explicitly records one religion by name (Islam) at the expense of all the other recognized religious groups in Canada in its pathetic attempt to curtail “Islamophobia”?
• Why do the Members of Parliament continue to allow Justin Trudeau to constantly renege on the fulfillment of vital economic agendas and sensitive social issues which were blatantly promised to all Canadians and First Nations peoples during his election campaign?
If these are the types of questions that need to be asked at this moment, then Canada is truly in a sad state of affairs. Members of Parliament are clearly not working for the benefit of Canada. It is apparent that all government strategies and decisions are not geared to a “Canada-first” mentality. Members of Parliament should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for allowing the great nation of Canada to embark on the destructive path of socialistic elitist globalism.
Does any Member of Parliament possess the loyal determination to publicly stand against the globalist agenda of Justin Trudeau? Will any Member of Parliament fervently seek to honestly fulfill their responsibilities towards Canadian citizens? Will any Member of Parliament demonstrate the courage to answer all of the questions posted above?
Sadly, it appears that hard-working, tax-paying, country-loving Canadians do not have a champion in the political arena. Therefore, Canada is quickly progressing towards moral and financial bankruptcy, and Canadians hold all the Members of Parliament responsible for this collapse. All Canadians are appalled and disgusted by the uncaring passivity displayed by the Members of Parliament in all facets of government.
Beware, if the Members of Parliament choose to continue to facilitate the implementation of Justin Trudeau’s globalist agenda and do not act immediately to stop the bleeding of national decay, all true Canadians will eventually band together and use any means at our disposal to prevent the destruction of the foundations of our great nation.

  • Great letter by Marsha Cooper to the committee of Heritage on M103. Mr. Reid, Mr Anderson and Hedy Fry: "I am emailing you all once again in respect to the hearings on M103. I am convinced that this is all a "kangaroo court" and even one of your witnesses has also declared it to be so, as you will note in the article he wrote in the Sun. http://www.torontosun.com/2017/09/26/treatment-by-mps-at-m-103-committee-hearing-nothing-short-of-lousy Mr. Fatah even compared the M103 to treatment he received in a court in Pakistan:"This wasn’t the first time I had seen what appeared to me as a kangaroo court. Nearly 50 years ago in 1970, I was brought in handcuffs before a Martial Law Court in Karachi, Pakistan where a military colonel presided over my sentencing, even before I had spoken." It is an interesting read and goes into detail how he was treated at the hearing and even what I would consider to be taken to task by the chair Hedy Fry. Listening to these hearings have made me realize that like Tarek Fatah says: "...it [was] evident to me this was not a "hearing", but an exercise to rubber stamp a pre-determined outcome." Pre-determined outcome, indeed! It was also interesting to note that an MP at the hearing even wrote to Tarek Fatah an apology:The haranguing was so blatant that it came as a shock to one MP, who later called me and left a message to “apologize” for the “intimidation and bullying” to which I had been subjected. He said in his over 17 years as an MP he had not seen anything like it. So what should one think after reading this article from Tarek Fatah and his treatment at the M103. My thoughts are that the Liberals are only willing to give a fair hearing to people on the side of M103 and into taking away our freedom to speak. The Conservatives appear to be just "going along to get along." I am going to be listening to the hearings this afternoon when witness Ms. Razza takes the stand, she is a Muslim like Tarek Fatah, that believes there is no room in Canada for Motions like #103. Perhaps the Conservatives could take a stand and walk out of these "Kangaroo court hearings" as did the Liberals, when they disapproved of the Conservative choice of a women representing the status of women committee meeting. Why will the Conservatives not stand for Canadians? Put an end to this fiasco of a hearing. One that declares Canadians who are the most open and welcoming people in the world, to be racists and bigots, our country is done. I am the wife of a retired Air Force major who served Canada proudly for 27 years. My husband and I are neither racists or bigots. We have served Canada as patriots and we will not give up our freedom to speak and we will not be quelled in our ability to speak about any religion or ideology."
  • Another great letter you can send to your mp's: Dear Sirs; A great many voting citizens elected your government on the basis that a modest amount of deficit spending would finance renewed infrastructure and transportation projects and to assist Canadians to reinvent our economy from resourced based industries to a new economy. You have been in power for just about two years and although you campaigned on a promise of modest deficit spending of around $10 billion/year, the media is broadcasting numbers up to three times higher than your promises of 2015. On top of that, I do not see anything in any of your government's undertakings to show for the huge spending under your leadership. Canadians work very hard to earn enough money to feed their families, keep roofs over their heads and pay their taxes. Most of us do not spend three times our budgeted amounts or bankruptcies would be far more prevalent. On average, Canadians are a prudent lot who make great efforts to save and re-invest. We work hard to squirrel amounts away for that family vacation, that new car and for our children's university education. As such I am disgusted by the half-baked way your government is doling out money to all kinds of aid projects outside the country, paying millions to known terrorists and in general using our future financial resources in ways that will yield no long term benefit to Canadians; on the contrary, your ill considered approach to other people's money is not only insulting but is beyond any mandate you ever received from Canadian voters. Our leaders should have better vision and be better at budgeting than their citizens! But sadly, this is not the case. Mr. Trudeau and Mr. Morneau, Canadians have worked hard for their incomes. And some Canadians in Western Provinces have been displaced by fires and their jobs by the fall of resource commodity prices. They need the money that they paid in taxes to now help them and not fund lofty, feel good projects abroad. We did not work hard for our money so that your government could treat our savings whether corporate or otherwise as your political party's private trust funds to be used to garner future votes from fast-tracked and loosely planned immigration schemes. You made promises to be transparent, to hear Canadians, to consult and to govern differently than your predecessor. I'm sorry to say sirs, that you are not governing at all. You are simply spending and Canadians will remember this when their increased taxes in the next two years eliminates their own discretionary spending and savings to do the things they want to do. You have two years to reverse course, reign in the indiscriminate spending and put the capital to work rebuilding our country's infrastructure and stimulating investments in businesses to create opportunities for Canadians. It takes real leadership to change course. Be those leaders or step aside. • Here is another example of letter you can send: [DATE] [NAME] [ADDRESS LINE 1] [ADDRESS LINE 2] [ADDRESS LINE 3] Dear [MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT], On July 18, 2017, Federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau released a policy paper announcing a series of broad proposals that impact private corporations and their shareholders. These proposals come on the heels of recent changes that introduced a new top federal personal tax rate of 33% for income earners above $200,000 and various restrictions on the use of the small business deductions. As a private business owner, my unequivocal message to you is that these tax measures are ill-conceived, heavy-handed, and will surely have unintended consequences. Ultimately, and most importantly, the proposal is harmful to families who assume the risk of running businesses in Canada. This legislation assumes it is necessary to level the playing field by specifically taxing self-employed professionals and business owners at much higher rates, even though they take the highest risks within society in terms of their work and establishing their enterprises. - We are individuals who employ almost 50% of the Canadian workforce, yet typically have no guaranteed income, pension, or employment insurance. - We are entrepreneurs with no private health plan (medications, dental, other health professional services, etc.) and rely on profits to pay for our own care. - Being self-employed, we are not afforded vacation days or sick time, including maternity benefits – when we are away from our businesses, we earn no income. - We are families who pour our savings into our businesses and often must personally guarantee any debt related to our company or profession – this puts us at a saving disadvantage from Day One versus our salaried peers. We rely on tax planning strategies to secure the lives of our families, support the livelihoods of our employees, and contribute to our country’s economic health. Neither the politicians who have proposed these rules, nor the officials in the Department of Finance that drafted them, **** these risks. We do not have defined pensions that accumulate tax free; in fact, our tax rates would increase. We also stand to lose opportunities afforded to civil servants, such as income splitting. Moreover, in choosing to cover all private corporations, these proposals do not actually target the wealthy. Any middle-class entrepreneur who carries on business through a private corporation will be impacted by these changes. This legislates against the backbone of Canada’s economy, without considering whether they are actually high-income earners – we are not all CEOs of major corporations (who are, by the way, salaried employees). At its core, the issue is the difference in risk that an entrepreneur takes versus an employee in a company (large or small) or within the government. Considering the burden business owners take on, the tax system should be designed to reward said risk, because it creates jobs, growth, and supports a system that allows for transfer of business to the next generation. As a citizen, constituent, and entrepreneur, I implore you to take a stand in Ottawa: do not allow the Federal Finance Minister to enact changes that unfairly tip the scales against me and fellow business owners across Canada. Two generations ago, The Carter Committee was given four years to develop a new tax framework for Canada and the then-Liberal government took another five years to finalize reasonable legislation. This government has allotted 75 days of consultation. Please take your time and consider the full ramifications of what is being proposed. There is an opportunity to create tax fairness for all Canadians. As written, however, what the Federal Finance Minister has put forward falls well short of that goal. Sincerely, [SIGNATURE] [NAME] https://cdn.fbsbx.com/v/t59.2708-21/21297879_10156622265236040_3429109207750672384_n.docx/2017-08-Letter-to-MP-template-1.docx?oh=93ab69d1ba4f3e4119e9ddd8f69a2a18&oe=59C84271&dl=1
