Abilities Expo Toronto has it ALL for the disability community! Increasing your independence is our goal and, this year, we have brought you event more products and services to help do just that.

Have you ever tried sledge hockey? How about other adaptive sports like basketball, rugby, boccia, electric wheelchair hockey or tennis? Your new favorite pastime awaits! And if you just want to try a little bit of everything to see what you like best, go straight to the Parasport Ontario Try Me Area.

Wheelchair dancing pioneer and Push Girl Auti Angel will teach fun, fitness-enhancing dance moves all three days of the show!

Travel guru John Morris will give two workshops how to open up your world with accessible travel. Come prepared for the Q&A which will address a wide variety of questions, concerns and vacation destinations.

There’s also a great session on bionic exoskeletons. You’ll learn about the medical benefits and what’s new in the industry.

What would you say to two sessions on home design with experts who can advise you on how to improve accessibility in every area of your house? Learn about this and living with chronic pain, therapeutic cannabis, service dogs, hearing loss, respite care, choosing the right accessible vehicle, pediatric therapies and medical errors at our informative workshops.

The products, services and technologies are drawing attendees from all over Ontario and surrounding provinces—everything from hi-tech power chairs and accessible vehicles to healing remedies and resources for people with hearing issue. And swing by the Assistive Technology Pavilion for cutting edge AT to help you bridge the gap between ability and disability.
