All Creatures Great and Small is a visual and diverse collection of artworks. Come and experience this mixed media display celebrating all aspects of our earth’s creatures.
More than 30 artists bring this theme to life through both realistic and conceptual artworks, portraying insects, wildlife, pets, birds and mythical animals.
Visitors can expect to experience a wide variety of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, woodwork and mixed media.
There are photorealistic paintings by Annette Dawson and Lorraine Brown. Textile artist Marzena Kaczmarek showcases her abstract felted merino wool and hand dyed silk fabric pieces. There is also some striking and lively jewellery, and stunning ceramics.
John Steicke’s quirky upcycled metal sculptures depicting creepy crawlies are ideal for the garden. Vibrantly coloured quilted textile art for the wall by Zara Zannettino feature a number of creatures, including feather details, fish and birds. Victoria Yurkova’s embroidered and beaded butterfly brooches must be admired.
If you are an animal and creature lover this is the exhibition for you. There really is something to appeal to all including both traditional artwork to contemporary and abstract pieces.
