Ghost Stories of the British Museum walking tour | The British Museum | Friday, 21. June 2019

For the past two and a half years I have been collecting ghost stories of the British Museum from current and former staff for an ongoing oral history project and upcoming book. These stories of unquiet objects, haunted spaces and inexplicable occurrences are much wilder than I'd first anticipated.
While this work is ongoing, the project has been exhibited at Rib exhibition space in Rotterdam and Tenderbooks in London (who produced a publication on the project which is currently sold out). I have also begun to give regular tours of the British Museum, telling the stories pertaining to that which is on display and accessible to the public. The tours have been greatly enjoyed by all in attendance.
The next tour will be at 6:45pm on Friday the 21st of June. I will be by the visitor information desk on the right as you enter the Great Court wearing a dark blue denim jacket with leather collar and can be reached at 07870882232. Please RSVP early so as to avoid disappointment & punctual so as to not delay the group.
We will go to the pub after.
