Advanced Mediation Training for NJ Roster Mediators and Attorneys December 6, 2018 | Stark & Stark | Thursday, 06. December 2018

This 4-hour program provides 4 credits of CLE in NJ & PA, including 1.2 hours of Ethincs/Professionalism credits (approval pending). It satisfies the annual continuing training requirement for all mediators already on the court mediation roster and is open to all attorneys interested in learning about the mediation process. The program is interactive, involves case studies, and role play situations.
Eric Max, Esq. teaches negotiation and mediation to MBA and law students at the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.  Eric served as Director of the NJ State Office of Dispute Settlement for 28 years and has mediated over 1,500 cases for state and federal courts involving claims in excess of $1 billion.  Past mediation trainings conducted include: Superior Court Judges, Administrative Law Judges, the State Office of the Attorney General, State Police, Bar Associations and Law firms. 
Lewis Pepperman, Esq. is the Chair of the Business Practices at the law firm of Stark & Stark, having previously served as a managing director of the firm for 14 years.  A significant amount of Lew’s practice is in the area of mediation, involving all types of business matters.  Lew serves as a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Complimentary Dispute Resolution and is a charter member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. He has lectured on the topics of mediation and negotiation for the N.J. Office of Dispute Settlement and the Attorney General’s Advocacy Institute and has been a guest lecturer at the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
