Women's March Canada - Halifax March | Halifax City Hall | Saturday, 20. January 2018

Save the date! We’re back!
  • Hi all, Facebook doesn't let us merge events so we're moving over (not really canceling) to the event posting that Jackie Barkhouse created and is leading. This event isn't being canceled but because Facebook doesn't allow the merging of events, we are moving everything to the event listed that Jackie Barkhouse created for Halifax. This listing will remain here to let those who have already RSVPs here know of the change. For updates as of 2017-12-31 forward please share this and visit the Halifax March information here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1528377957210556/
  • Is this the same thing? https://www.facebook.com/events/1528377957210556/?ti=as
  • I am so disappointed in the previous post/questions everyone of them a disgrace to our gender. This is exactly why those of us who truly feel we need to be valued on our merit not gender rescind from many of this gatherings. the Canadian women of 1916 did not need to ask why, they knew right from wrong and stood up for what the believed in, regardless .Pull your panties up ladies gather up the integrity to which this cause is meant to example... and mean it. No one alienates allies, no one has a gender specific out come to this event. Support what our sisters have gone through in the past, regardless of race, religion, gender or preference.
  • Please advise who is organizing this particular event in Halifax. There are no names attached and there are already plans underway (same as last year) to hold a Women's March on this date. We need to know if there is a conflict. I respectfully ask for a reply, ASAP, please.
  • ****, yes, going!
  • Why are tickets necessary? What if women cannot pay for a ticket? How much are you charging?
  • Who is organizing this event?
  • So is it just women's issues this year?
