Beethoven’s Ninth | Dal Arts Centre | Friday, 11. May 2018

The Ninth. It’s been called Beethoven’s last grand experiment, the pinnacle of western classical music, and the symphony to end all symphonies. In Maestro Gueller’s final concerts as Music Director of Symphony Nova Scotia, our expanded orchestra proudly performs this colossal magnum opus in his honour. Plus, superstar pianist Marc-André Hamelin returns to perform one of the greatest works in the entire piano repertoire – the beautiful, thrilling “Emperor”. Don’t miss this monumental celebration of our beloved Maestro and some of the best music our world has to offer.
