What's Next? : Finding Passion & Purpose at Any Age
Speech Preview: Think it's too late to make a change? Think again! Jumping off with the true story of a 52-year old housewife who became the CEO of a multimillion dollar corporation, Prill will share what she has learned--and what you can learn--from her interviews with scores of women who have successfully launched second acts in midlife.
About Prill Boyle:
A self-described late bloomer, Prill Boyle graduated from Georgetown University at age 38, became a high-school English teacher at age 40, and wrote her first book--DEFYING GRAVITY: A CELEBRATION OF LATE-BLOOMING WOMEN--at age 50. Since its publication, she has spoken to groups all over the world about finding passion and purpose at any age, given an address at the United Nations, had a blog spotlighted in The New York Times, and hosted a local TV show. Now 64, she teaches English part-time while working on a novel about a late-blooming widow who thinks her life is over and discovers the best is yet to come.
