2019 IABC Annual Bible Conference (St Louis) | Edgemont Bible Church | Thursday, 01. August 2019

Dear Members of the IABC,
These past six months have been a time of self-examination at the board level of this wonderful organization. While our pathway has not been all smooth as an Interstate, the Lord has been faithful to lead us through the struggles. My wife reminded me this morning in our breakfast conversation of two amazing Psalms (4 and 5). The Psalmist had his own set of struggles, but what struck me was the last two verses as he concluded his meditation.
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.
There is a principal here that brings us comfort and assurance as we wrestle through the struggles in dependence upon Him and seeing Him make our way straight (5:8).
We are very grateful for your support and patience. As we move into the summer months, I want to encourage you send in your dues and sustain your membership. We are looking forward to this annual conference August 1-3 in the St. Louis area. I invite you to register today.
Our conference theme is: Hope! The Lord is our Hope. His promised return is our ultimate Hope as Paul reminds the Thessalonian church. Join us as together we honor His promise of Hope by rejoicing together at the conference and reexamining how He gives us Hope in all kinds of conflict and suffering, whether personal or corporate.
Another word about the conference. We have structured it a bit differently. We did so for two reasons: One is to provide ample opportunity for community building among the membership. The second is the implementation of ***** education principle in our discussion groups of learning from each other around the presenter’s content and workshop ideas. I believe you will really be glad you came!
Sincerely in His Service,
Howard Eyrich, Th.M., of the Board of Directors
