FREE CHORAL RECITAL | St Andrew’s Church | Monday, 29. April 2019

This is the first recital the choir will perform during their 2019 tour of England.
Admission is free! Please join us.
Repertoire includes Alleluias for Eastertide, Hymns of Charles Wesley, American Music and Songs for Sending.
The St. John's United Methodist Church Chancel Choir, with 30 active members, is Music Ministry’s premiere ensemble. Known for its strong sense of musical excellence, the choir sings weekly at the church’s 11:00 am televised worship service and at other special services throughout the year.
A highlight of the choir’s season each year is the beloved Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols, which is modeled after the order of King’s College, Cambridge. The choir sings a wide range of repertoire including masterworks, hymn settings, spirituals, and contemporary pieces. Recent major works include Handel’s Messiah, Faure’s Requiem, and Stainer’s Crucifixion.
