High Intensity Interval Training Fitness Kickboxing | McLeod Community League | Tuesday, 12. September 2017

HIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

Tuesdays and Thursdays
These sessions are ongoing and participants can join at any time.
10 sessions = $50 for McLeod Community League members, $75 for non-community league members
Drop-in fee is $10 per session

We use Fitness Kickboxing HIT as a fun and active way to promote healthy living. These sessions do not include Sparring.

Like boxing classes, fitness kickboxing offers the opportunity to train like a real kickboxer, reaping all the benefits without having to get in the ring. Studies show that a 45-60 minute kickboxing class can burn off 600-800 calories!

In addition to the weight loss, you build lean muscle which raises your metabolism, burning calories at rest and toning the whole body. The kicking exercises concentrate on the thighs, hips, and buttocks unlike any other workout.
