IAT Hair Practitioners Certificate Course - Perth (WA) | | Monday, 28. October 2019

For the first time in Australia, the IAT Hair Practitioners Certificate Course will be taught in a **** to **** format by De Lorenzo.
The first part of this course is designed to provide you with a working knowledge of the physical and chemical processes of the hair and scalp. We will then discuss how chemical processes to the hair can lead to hair breakage as well as the most common hair loss problems.
Gain basic knowledge about the hair and scalp and an understanding of how internal and external factors can cause hair loss and hair breakage.
Full cost of 3 day course is $900 or ASPYA members $880
 Subjects covered and certified:
• Common hair loss problems
• Structures, functions and physiology of the hair and skin
• Amino acids and bonds in the hair
• pH levels
• Science of chemical processes to the hair
• Day Three: clinical workshop including microscopy
 This course consists of:
• 6 webinar lectures by David Salinger I.A.T –   Relevance of pH, Disulphide Bond, Patches of Baldness, the Microscope, Hair and Scalp, and Diffuse Hair Loss
• 3 days **** to **** learning and practical workshops
• A detailed workbook
• IAT approved exam
• Certification from the IAT
If you enjoy undertaking this course, you might consider studying the full trichology course leading to certification as a trichologist – a professional that specialises in hair loss and scalp problems. The Hair Practitioners Course will be recognised as prior learning (RPL).
